Organic standards
and certification
Our farm is registered with the Soil Association and managed
to Soil Association Certification standards. Our Soil Association
Certification number is 1233456789 G4302.
The Soil Association is the UK's leading
campaigning and certification organisation for organic food
and farming. It seeks to develop and uphold the highest standards
of organic integrity. Within the Soil Association there are
seven standards committees that review standards and offer
recommendations to the Soil Association Council for amendment
and refinement of the standards. The Certification department
of the Soil Association rigorously enforces these standards.
The Soil Association's famous logo is only awarded to those
producers and retailers who have reached and maintain its
high standards. Soil Association Certification inspects and
certifies our farm every six months.
Organic farming systems, including ours, aim for sustainable
production in harmony with the environment, farmland and
livestock, to produce delicious and wholesome food without the
cocktails of chemicals associated with industrial farming.
