Terms & Conditions
We will be delighted to receive your order
and custom. Below are our general Terms and Conditions of
business:
Our Commitment To You: We will do our very best to meet
your requirements at all times. However, we aim to rear the finest organic produce, grown slowly and naturally at grass.
As such, sometimes we are affected by
factors outside our control (e.g. the weather and foxes). To this end we would advise you
that placing an order does not constitute a contract to supply.
In the unlikely event of any unforeseen circumstance affecting
your order we will advise you immediately.
Delivery Time and Date: At the time of ordering we
will provide you with an approximate date when the order will
be ready for collection or delivery.
Product Price: When ordering a whole or half lamb a
price per kilo will be quoted and an approximate weight given.
The weight is taken from the total dead weight of the carcass, before
hanging and butchering into joints, vacuumed packed and labelled
ready for the freezer. There will be some loss in weight during the hanging
and butchering process.
Individual cuts and joints, unrelated to a whole or half lamb,
are weighed separately and priced according to the cut or
joint.
Product Butchering: When placing an order, please let us know
your requirements. If no special requirements are made, your
order will be butchered to usual specifications.
Confirmation Of Delivery: As soon as we are in a position
to confirm delivery arrangements, we will contact you by email
or telephone. Once a suitable delivery is agreed,
it is the responsibility of the customer to be available to
receive perishable goods in accordance with the arrangements
made.
No refund is made if the customer is unavailable and/or the
goods cannot be delivered. If the courier mislays the order
or our ordering process is at fault a full refund will be
given.
Collection: Collection of an order is from Langley
Chase Organic Farm at a pre-agreed date and time.
Payment: Payment, on receipt
of invoice, is by cheque or bank-to-bank transfer. This is
to be agreed at the time of confirming the delivery arrangements.
